Shipping Methods

We recommend the method that suits your destination, vehicle and schedule.

RORO

Roll-on / Roll-off

The car is driven onto the vessel and off at the destination port. Usually the most economical option for single running vehicles.

Best for: Running cars, regular routes, lower cost

Container

Container Shipping

The car is loaded and secured inside a 20ft or 40ft container. Suits multiple vehicles, non-running units and destinations without RORO service.

Best for: Multiple cars, non-running units, extra protection

How Shipping Works

Four steps from our yard in Japan to your destination port.

1

Booking Request

We review your destination, vehicle, method and the next available vessel.

2

Vehicle Preparation

Payment, export documents, yard entry and inspection are completed.

3

Loading & Departure

The carrier loads your car and the vessel departs from Japan.

4

Arrival & Clearance

You or your agent clear customs and collect the car at the port.

Export Documents

We prepare the papers needed to export your car from Japan and send them to you after shipment.

  • Commercial invoice
  • Export certificate (with English translation)
  • Bill of Lading (original, surrendered or electronic)
  • Customs export declaration
  • Pre-shipment inspection, when your country requires it

Please send correct consignee, notify party and destination port details. Changes after documents are issued may take extra time and cost.

Marine Insurance

Marine insurance is available on request. It is included only when stated on your invoice — ask our team for a quote before shipment.

Schedules are estimates

Departure and arrival dates can change because of carrier decisions, port congestion, weather, customs or transshipment. Please avoid fixed commitments based only on an estimated date.

Shipping FAQ

It depends on the route and vessel schedule. We share the estimated departure (ETD) and arrival (ETA) once your booking is confirmed, and update you if the carrier changes them.
